Interesting or inspiring articles (perhaps a bit of both) … | This article on employee engagement covers a range of topics including why it’s a good idea that all employees be given a liveable wage, and also delves into the idea that workers and businesses should understand and embrace their social purpose. This article is a bit on the longish side, but it’s worth the time spent reading it.

Interesting or inspiring articles (perhaps a bit of both) … plus what I’m reading right now | There is much talk these days surrounding the idea that CSR needs a serious facelift. Interesting or inspiring articles (perhaps a bit of both) … | I was in Rwanda in June, 2013 and was impressed with the progress I saw there … for a country that had suffered so much and had been brought so close to the brink of disaster. Rwanda is adopting a creative approach to moving goods around in a land where it’s difficult at the best of times. A drone airport will courier medicine (as well as other goods) around the country. This is a great example of how technology can solve age-old problems.
